Since a few minutes ago, whenever I am trying to open a Word file that did not originate from my PC on win10, Windows Security is giving me the above warning. when I open a file that I created myself there’s no error. looking here this seems to be a fairly new update, unfortunately I do not quite get the explanation. when it says «generic detection for suspicious behaviors» does it mean the usual warning Word gives you when you try to open a Word file you received from someone else? unfortunately I have to open and edit these files I receive from other people for work, so I can’t simply not open any files coming from outside. following the advice in this subreddit I already ran rkill and malwarebytes, both telling me nothing bad was found. does anyone happen to know if this error is from an actual virus threat or really just the usual message? is there any way I can find out for sure?
