BIOS — сокращенное название базовой системы ввода-вывода (Basic Input/Output System), которая также называется программой настройки системы или UEFI. BIOS или UEFI — это микропрограмма, встроенная в небольшой микросхему памяти на системной плате компьютера. Она применяется в качестве интерфейса между оборудованием и операционной системой компьютера. BIOS или UEFI также содержит инструкции, по которым компьютер выполняет базовые действия, например загрузка даты и времени с жесткого диска, USB-накопителя или из сети и т. д.
Существует 3 типа паролей, которые можно задать в BIOS или UEFI компьютера.

BIOS is the acronym of Basic Input/Output System that is a firmware embedded on a small memory chip on the PC’s system board or motherboard. BIOS interface is designed for advanced PC users. Change certain settings on BIOS could prevent the PC from starting correctly, prevent the operating system from loading or suffering potential loss of data. Hi all
I asked for bios dump for dell latitude 3520 bios locked
and onizzbox told me to dump my bios and give him to be unlocked.
He unlocked the bios but he put password on bios dump unlocked file. I don’t
understand that situation. The rule on this forum is all action is free and don’t need
to pay something. So I resume, if onizzbox want that I pay his action, why He don’t tell
that. I know also ho to unlock bios but I don’t have another bios dump for this laptop.

The file was posted by you in the follow-up #3, how can you not have the file anymore. Dell BIOS should be unique to each device, it should NEVER be shared, people with technical skills know this.Unfortunately it’s hard to know who we can help. Not even a simple thank you or feedback.

The Service Tag uniquely identifies the device (not only the configuration).
1. On the https://www.dell.com/support site, anyone can find out the hardware configuration, the software initially included with the device, warranty information, date of purchase and the country of purchase of the device.
2. On https://www.dell.com/support/inciden. 4/email/stolen, someone could falsely report the device as stolen, possibly causing some minor trouble when the real owner calls Dell for support.
3. Dell recommends not to share/post service tag number on public forums (https://www.dell.com/community/Lapto. t/true#M651153). In fact, if you post it on Dell forums, it will be removed by the moderators (search for «Service tag removed per privacy policy»).

The service tag can be found by searching through the bios dump with a hex editor.It saves time if members post the service tag,it can be entered at the dell support site to find the right bios.The service tag given is generally from the case, the service tag in the bios dump does not always match.When the service tag does not match we know that the member or another service has flashed the wrong bios,sometimes from a completely different model, or has the wrong ME firmware version, and so on.
Posting the service tag does have some privacy implications i suppose.

Что такое системный пароль BIOS?
Системный пароль обеспечивает безопасность, предотвращая загрузку компьютера пользователем. Пользователь не может просмотреть меню загрузки (F2 или F12), если не указан правильный системный пароль. После того как пароль будет предоставлен компьютеру, можно изменить параметры настройки BIOS.
Примечание.: Если на компьютере также установлен пароль администратора, для изменения параметров BIOS также должен быть предоставлен пароль администратора.
Назначение сведений о пароле BIOS системы
Настройка системного пароля предназначена для конкретной модели. Ниже приведены два общих способа настройки пароля BIOS системы.
- Если установлен пароль администратора , перед установкой пароля BIOS может потребоваться у данного пароля.
- Если установлен надежный пароль, пароль должен содержать не менее 8 символов и как минимум один символ в верхнем регистре и один символ в нижнем регистре.
- Новый системный пароль BIOS можно установить только в том случае, если его состояние не установлено.
Действия по настройке пароля BIOS системы
- Чтобы войти в программу настройки системы, нажмите клавишу F12 сразу после включения или перезагрузки компьютера. Затем выберите BIOS Setup( Настройка BIOS).
- На экране настройки BIOS выберите Пункт Безопасность и нажмите клавишу Ввод. Отобразится экран Безопасность.
- Выберите Системный пароль и создайте пароль в поле Введите новый пароль.
- Введите системный пароль, который вы ввели ранее, в поле Confirm New Password и нажмите ok.
- Нажмите клавишу Esc и сохраните изменения во всплывающем сообщении.
- Нажмите Y, чтобы сохранить изменения. Компьютер выполнит перезагрузку.
